You're talking about the chrome trim around the windows & grill?

I covered my chrome trim with shadowline matte black vinyl. It'll probably be faster to use plastidip.

i used gloss black vinyl on my bumper and door trims not the window trim, and they look great. used to have plastidip on the chrome trim on the bumpers but it looked off because it was matte not gloss, although the plastidip did hold up pretty damn well.

I got 2 rolls of the 3'' x 30' matte black vinyl. You might only need 1 roll though...

I learned that since the trim is so skinny, you can actually cut the 3'' down the middle to 1.5'' and have 2x the vinyl to work with
