Rizzo - 2009 CLK 550 - Silver/Black

Here she is, all the way from Texas to California!
2009 CLK 550. Every option available except the trunk closer (which I dont understand how that happened ). 15,300 miles. The puck is missing, so I ordered my MB2 from Cartronics this weekend.
Thanks to everyone in the original post that helped me figure out the questions...Especially Eddieo45, Yidney and Rudeney.

Congrat !!!!!!!! Have you register your car yet? I read all this warning on DVM website about buying car from the other 48 states that might not be able to register in California because of the smog regulation is different in Ca then then other 48 states. That's #$$$ !!!! I might be bring home an Slk55 from Texas to California too this weekend.

See the temp tag in the back window? DMV=p0wnage. They really dont want to help you figure it out, all the lady did at first was had me a pamphlet "how to register your out of state car in Calif" . It's a pain, but most cars manufactured after 2008 meet the Calif standards. Plus if the car has over 7500 miles on it, it wont be an issue because it is a "used" car and the standard does not apply. All I had to do was go get a smog check this weekend (it passed). The hardest part is getting the state of Texas to send me the title so I can register the car.

Besides the trunk closer - which I have and never used - I think the one other option you do not have is the wood/leather steering wheel, which was $550. But you should probably be glad you don't because the wood wheel does not have paddle shifters, which I assume you do have?

Before you drill holes in that beautiful nose, search for "front plate" posts from other two-plate state residents, like dynomite05 (from Jerzy) and others (like me) who've tossed the from plate in the trunk and take our chances. Here in the original People's Republic, Massachusetts, the only issue is finding a service station that will give you an annual inspection sticker without it. I hope i don't jinx myself writing this, but I've received one warning for not having it, and that was after I think I took a left turn from the middle lane through a yellow light and then did a lane change without signaling....and that was a warning!

True that. The one "option" I did not want. I like the paddles.

Under $34k including shipping to Los Angeles.

FWIW:
What got me going was about 6 mos ago, I saw a guy in an W211 E550 gutter jump and completely smoke a new S4 on Pacific Coast Highway. Then my buddy got a CLS 63. I was back on the Benz band-wagen

Plus my VW creaks and squeaks like a 1987 Hyundai Excel.

50% off!! And VWs are all the fun of an MB with all the quality of a Hyundai, in my opinion as a former Jetta lover!

The guy I park next to at work has a CLK63 'vert and he has the sensors in the bumper.

Two options I would have really liked to have were a rear sunshade and parking sensors. Oh well. 382HP makes up for it.
