2005 with basic radio and HK system
I recall reading about a year ago that a stronger amplifier could be added with the stock speakers and stock HU to make it a little louder. I do not need my car teenage loud, but when the top is down I would appreciate about 20% more volume. Any suggestions? I was thing about an amp that accepts speaker level input. Thoughts or links to others install?

go for an AMP & a set of aftermarket speakers, then you'll get something descent.
Clarion / Alpine do have some speakers that gives great pitch & Mid-sound. that would be enough for u not to become a teenager again
