2007 CLK 350 Cabriolet
For Sale: Radio and Changer -- Wanted: Shifter and Cupholder

Just removed my non-COMAND CD/stereo unit and CD changer from my 2007 CLK. Anybody need either of these?

Also, looking to replace my chipped shift knob and front cupholder with unchipped ones!

Would trade them all straight up, but what are the chances of someone in the exact opposite situation as me? Very slim!

NO LONGER ACTIVE
It's unlikely that you'll find a used unchipped cupholder or shifter knob (well, actually, my shifter knob is in great shape, but I'm using it right now ). FYI, you can remove the cupholder chrome trim ring very easily. Just use a soft pry tool (fingernail?) around the top outer edge of the trim ring (i.e. between it and the cupholder assembly) and it should snap out. I was thinking about replacing it with a new one (you have to buy the whole cupholder), but I know it will just chip again, so I think I'm going to sand mine down and the paint it black.

I recently bought an Audio20 HU from a member who's also a car stereo dealer who likely just takes them from customers going aftermkt. Paid $100 shipped, FWIW.
