So this is a fairly new problem, during the cold months i usually let my car warm up for about 5 minutes before putting it in gear, even after letting it warm up it still begins to shake and then stalls when put into reverse....!!? Took it to a local indy and he said it was the electronic throttle accelerator motor or something along those lines. Has anyone experienced this problem?

 

He could mean that the Throttle Body actuator is defective & not properly respondng to the ECU. The engine should not stall when loaded in open loop mixture enrichment.
