You know, I never knew that the 550 used a D1S, my '05 500 uses the D2S and I know the '06 facelifted 500 also uses the same. Did the D1S changeover happen in '07 with the 550?

Philips bulbs/lamps/xenons made in the Aachen plant in Germany are considered the gold standard. That plant is truly amazing.
