Check Oil Level Message
Hello,
I have a 2006 CLK 350. Last month I started getting the check engine oil level message on cluster display. I would get in randomly so I took it to dealership were they added a little oil. I'm starting to get same message again. I check the oil and the level on the dipstick is between min and max, so I'm not sure why I'm getting that message. Could it just be a problem with the sensor? I haven't noticed any leaks
Thanks for the help

just taking a guess, could it be that the sensor is going off when you're on a slope b/c the fluids are shifting away from the sensor?
i've had that happen with washer fluid in an e430 before

Thanks for the reply. It seems to happen after I've been driving down the freeway for awhile. I usually don't get the message right after starting the car

The sensors can play up. If you level is correct then replace the sensor.
