I think I'm going to get this, this next week...I'm going to get the extra docking station so I can also use it in both of my cars. Will make the many car trips I have more convenient and overall it's just cool...haha...also works up to 150 feet away from you vehicle...
Let me know what you guys think...

Yeah, and it's only 3G. Why not just buy a Verizon 4G Mifi? It's much more portable. Or like kbahl said, you could upgrade your phone to one that supports WiFi hotspots (my Samsung Droid Charge does this at 4G speeds).

Hmm didn't know about the Droid doing that, but I currently have my Blackberry for work and iPhone for personal...love the iPhone too much to leave it, but I believe they have that on the 4S if I'm not mistaken...what's the mifi?...

For an additional fee through your mobile provider the iPhone can be used as a mobile hotspot. Go into settings, then network. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Call your provider - I think you can do it on the iPhone 4, too. The Mifi is a "puck" that's about 2/3 the size of an iPhone 4, but with no screen or keyboard (just a power button). It combines a cellular 3G or 4G modem and a WiFi router. You turn it on, it connects to the cellular network, and then allows up to 5 devices (tables, laptops, etc.) wirelessly share the 3G/4G connection. You can get them for as low as $20, and $50/mo for service. I've used the Verizon 3G version and it works quite well. You don't want to use it for "file sharing", but email, web browsing, some light streaming and remoting into the office all work great.
