There was a big discussion a while back between the mercedes benz clk 550 vs the 335 and the m3 e92 I believe... Come someone pls direct me to this thread, I wanna clarify a few things now that I own a 335 xi coupe. Some ppl might get mad.

lol, perma-ban. Man, last summer on this forum was a hoot, so many projects on the go from a bunch of different members and a wealth of information and laughs. I'm glad I got to meet some of the guys in the UK and US too, hope everyone emerges again in the spring.

I just wanted to discuss this with you guys one more time, it seems like a interesting topic that a lot of ppl have a lot to say about. first of all yes i bought a beamer, and got rid of the clk 550. so i have to update my profile. now the clk 550 issss much faster than a STOCK 335. from 0-60 0-100 40-120 whatever> and please dont copy and paste the specs of both cars, everybody knows whats the supposed 0-60 on the cars. I just wanted to bring this up again becuase people where very confident in comparing the 335 with the clk 550. like i said the power the 550 produces is freaking crazy but it just isnt a sports car. the handling is horrible good brakes but handling is disgusting for the amount of power it delievers. more on this later gotta go.

It wasn't anything personal buddy, it's just that 80-90% of all newly created threads lately have had questions that have been answered many times before.
It took me 10 seconds to find that thread, keywords used "550 m3".

ok cool. like i was saying, the 335 is a all around sports car> im very happy with it. just put michelin pilot sport tires on it and it drives awsome. and one thing i personally love is that my car has the sport pckg which lets it go up too 155. so much better than topping out at 135 with the clk.

Yeah but with an ecu tune the 550 would do more than 155, V8 power
Any plans for the bi-turbos? How's the xi working out? I've never tried BMWs all wheel drive.

I'm goin to keep it stock for now, possibly in the summer ill install the jb1 I believe that's just the chip. 30 hp 25 torq, ill be happy with that. As far as the all wheel drive I'm still getting use to it. I feel the front wheels pull the car especially when I'm on the throttle around turns, different feeling if u compare to the 380 hp rear wheel drive of the clk. I remember always having to counter steer a little.
As far as tuning the 550 yea its possible but honestly you would need coilovers front and rear stabilizers and more to handle that extra speed. Too much body roll and you really have to be a expeirenced driver to control the car. Thats my opinion..

I hit a mean pothole this morning driving to work, freaking hate that sh** . It rattled my whole car. But thank god!! No bubble on the tire. I'm worried now
