Paint Color and repair options
I wanted to know how to find out the paint color of Car and what are some repair options for scratches. I have a 2007 CLK550 the VIN lookup tells me it is 775U and the Door says C775 (I am assuming they are the same).
I am in Canada and there appears to be some places who sell "Paint Pens" and primer pens, there are also some nail polish type solutions.
I don't know why but for some reason people keep hitting my car. I park at the back of car parks away from other vehicles and no matter where I go I come back and some idiot has hit my car.
If anyone has some info on repair options I would appreciate it. I can take it to a professional but it is happening so much lately that I would be down there once a week. I think if I can just cover them up or hide them and take it to a repair shop and have them cleaned up professionally when it gets to bad.

mercedes and online retailers can sell you the same color repair kit as the color of your car.
not sure if this works well or not, but consider getting a clear bra? -- i think thats what they are called. its supposed to protect against rock chips but not sure how effective they are towards little love taps from other drivers.

Thanks for the Tip I will check out the clear bra ?? The drivers in my area all seem to judge distance by touch.

Where are the scratches?
If they are on the bumpers, the dealerships usually subcontract someone to "blow" in the paint. I know the guy that does these jobs in my dealership and he charges me $120-150 to repair scratches and dents in my bumpers. Of course it would cost $200+ if I go through the dealership.
Did you ever wonder why the 2nd hand cars in MB dealerships all have perfect bumpers? He does only bumpers and not the body.
