That Part # was for the C63 diffuser....there is not a diffuser thats a factory 209 one....the black series has one but also has a different rear bumper.....thats why i bought the 05 clk55 rear bumper....it has the exhaust cut outs on both sides

It will fit mine ( no AMG ) but still needs to be seen as a mod because however its not a bolton, you got to have modskillz to get it done or if you are NOT THAT experienced and mechanically inclined then leave that type of work to a trustfull professional.

Isn't the AMG bumper the same, just one vs two cut outs?
If I got a VIS diffuser, it would fit the AMG bumper and I'd have to cut my bumper on the right side. I don't care about CF, so if this fits my AMG bumper I think I'd rather do that.

Anxious to see how the diffuser comes out and hope your installer will snap few close-up's of before and after. so far the exhaust looks good.

I am wondering why the diffuser wasn't installed prior to hanging the mufflers.

Telling you why, mech said better get a bumper from prior design, pay 200 Euros more, instead of paying 200 Euros just for install, got the diffusor nicely packed thrown into the trunk lol
As for sound, well no Mustang so no RAW neckbreaking, V8 sound....
To describe the sound now its kinda, something polite and understanding is hiding under the hood but you dont want to play around with that badboy.
You know Im really happy with the outcome...such a nice gentleman sound, no drone...not even a little! Nothing, like stock...only difference you finally hear that ita not a 4-Banger, in neutral when you leave the car running and go to the rear you hear a nice deep growl. Yep money is good invested, eventhough someone offered me the oem BS exhaust system a day the car went to shop.
..NO REGRETS :-)
Now I want me SPOILER-SPOILER-SPOILER...man would look so nice with one!
Thanks for checking my thread everybody:-)

The cost difference between prior-design's rear bumper, which includes a built-in diffuser, and the W204 packed in your trunk is more than a $1000 USD. $200 Euros might be a bit on the conservative side. LOL.

Not to mention you'll still have to pay for painting and removing/installing the bumper.

Do not agree, because 400 euros is 519,84 dollars roundabout 500 eiros is what you pay for a bumper from prior, at least here in germany hence 200 Euros aint close to be conservative. Its almost the half you pay condidering the bumper price itself.
Wow 1k for a bumper? Reminds me at my mustang times, 2k Euros for a freakin steeda cowlhood...yep bloodsuckers everywhere lol

Guys since my exhaust install I noticed( definately not only in my head )
that my car seems slower then before, gaspedaltravel has not the responsebility then before...exhaust leak? Should I reset the ECU?
My resonator has been removed ...might that cause that?
Thanks people....oh and I did a quick pic at the gasstation, need to get the exhaust adjusted, for now they stick to far out, talking bout them tips, anyway heres the picture I talked about, on Saturday Ill do a much better vid, so you all can hear the sound under load ;-)

FRIENDS!
NEED your wise suggestions!
Resonators removed, muffler from bastuck has been installed...now I EASY have lost 50 HP, torque curve feels moved up... fun begins at 2.8- 4.5 k RPM.
When I press the gas usually the car jumps forward, NOW the power curve goes down/// and slowly the car starts to get into it.
Exhaustleak? Should I do a reset?
Motor is a 5.5 M273, its a CLK 550 2007....the whole week after the exhaust install Im thinking about if that really was it worth...lookin good...drivin slow is not what I wanted in other words, HELP !!!!

So you had all 3 resonators removed and only one bastuck muffler installed? You should then have a very loud and fairly free flowing exhaust. Torque range might move up a few hundred RPM but shouldn't be too noticeable. If I were you I would take the car to another muffler shop for 2nd opinion.

No Ive just removed the resonator, the one long thing in the middle, behind the secondary cats AND I changed the OEM muffler with a bastuck muffler, thats all.
Im really disapointed how the exhaust guy treated me when I came at the settled appointment when I politely asked him bout my issues....
man...Im sad...such a great look and such a poor HP-output....

Something must have gone wrong with either the muffler or the installation. Based on your description I don't see anything that would negative affect performance or alter power curve dramatically.
