CLK Diffusor from MB
Well nothing special really....( yeah sure...I almost j...in my pants lol )
I went to the MB dealer today and testfitted 2 different diffusors, one of the C63 ( shiney blakh ) and from the 07 CLK 55 ( grey )
At the end I decided the grey one is better for my quad conversion wich will be around nxt month so stay tuned
Also thanx to Dome who gave me suggestions on some mod-thoughts for the future.

Well, I dont see why not? I held it to my bumper and this will fit, flawlessly only thing to do is to dremel out of the bumper the attachement "noses" from the diffuser and it will be okay without to cut the diffusor :-)Talking bout the grey clk 55 amg one, the c63 on a w209 is a whole different story, though.
If your interested bout the price PM me, Im more then happy to help if someone needs a part, I drove Mustangs in germany and can really feel everyones pain here, not looking to make money, dont care about it, I want to help thats all:-)

Am confused. I thought MB didn't make a diffuser for CLK except for clk63. Are you saying there is an OEM diffuser being sold by MB dealers for w209 that looks like the one in your picture?

One picture is showing the diffusor not 100 percent alligned, bare with my sweetheart there lol she isnt so much into our passion, allthough she is supporting me
Well with a little of technica understandig youll be able to see, move the diff a few inches to the left and the bow from the diffusor fits the bow from the bumber looking at the left outter side.

Nooooo! The tabs need to get cut out of the bumper, not diffusor. Otherwise these tabs or clips wouldnt work, do their job means attach, secure the diffusor to the bumper! Sure addhesive need to be cosidered, too but tabs are for attachement.
From the design of the diffusor compared to the design of the bumper it will fit flawlessly, of course you have to put a little work in it to achieve the attachment but thats not a big deal was my initial thought, sorry if someone got missleaded...
Its OEM, minor tuneup to the non AMG bumper, and it will fit!
Aint that a cool thing? ;-)

got you so its required to make holes to the bumper.
It's going to be the lower part anyway so no big deal i guess.
I will try to buy one tomorrow from my dealer and bring it to a body shop to get it installed hopefully!

To be quiet honest, I made my mind but the day the car will be left at the shop I will discuss it with the shop owner. Im tending to Fox tips wich are slightly bigger then AMGs but Im open for suggestions wich other route to take
Since the shop is specialized in Benz Tuning and custom exhausts, they have a huge variety of tips in stock, so I can just finger point my favourites :-) For sure the classic oval quad-style will be considered. Mark the 30th Lads and Gents....and stay tuned!

Yep I feel what you trying to say lol
When I once squezed 650 rwHP out of my cobra, downtime was 6 month...after it was finally dynotuned, 2weeks later Ive managed to shot the clutch caused by a faulty TOB. Then the transmission had to get a rebuilt ... On and on neverending story. You know the saying? Ya gotta pay to play lol oh well life would be boring if not, right?
For this car my focus is on Exterrior, for now ;-)
