First of all, does that guy never clean his car? The floorboard was full of debris! Second, I'd never treat the panels in my dash like that. The installer likely scratched the crap out of them and the dash. Finally, never NEVER disassemble that sash with the ignition on!

It does not fit the 209 despite the listing, it's for the 203.

+1, but like the sloppy installer, I never figured out how to remove the shiftknob, so I put shifter in neutral to get the trim off over the knob, then I shut it off again.

FYI, the shift knob is easy to remove - just pull the leather boot up over the knob, and then you'll find a plastic retainer ring at the top, under the knob. Rotate it and let it drop down, then "yank" the shift knob up and off the post. But really, you don't have to remove the knob. I usually don't when doing dash work like that, but I am much more careful with my parts!

06 CLK350 -SOLD! 2010 Cadillac SRX Premium Turbo
Plenty of CLK audiophile's have been down this road with aftermarket swaps and what fits and does not fit.

I would take heed to what they say.
