Hello , guys am going to be quick , today all of sudden my car is not shifting to second gear , or turning to sport mode , i cant go fast than 50 km/h , i don't know what could be the cause of it , and the yellow check engine light turned on ,

Please guys i need super quick reply before i go to fix and get scammed to change the whole gear box !

 

sounds like you're in limp home mode which means that your car has detected some sort of fault/danger and is only letting your tranny run in 2nd for safety reasons. your ecu should have some codes stored, find them and post them!

 

how and where can i find them ? just please give me a relief , as long as the car is getting to 50 km/h and driving naturally tll that speed ? nothing really big right ?

 

oh and everytime i am changing from R to N lets say or to D or to park , , its like there is a sound of something breaking inside the car :'(
