Why would one go difficult when one can easily install an OEM MB TV tuner to one's US spec comand?
You only need to tell your MB dealer that they can activate the blank TV button with their stardiagnose...

Here in the U.S. it is illegal in most states to watch a TV/DVD while driving. I dont know why anyone would want to, its just as irresponsible as driving while holding a cell phone. (MY OPINION)

I believe the TV feature should at least be available for the passenger. The new NAV TV from Mercedes in Europe cuts out the picture when the car reaches road speed. I happen to have a dash mounted TV (Kenwood) in one of my vehicles though the picture only comes on when the parking brake is activated. I do enjoy hearing the TV news sans picture while driving though.
