Question Someone Cut Out My Phone Cradle

Hello all. First post here, although I'd like to thank everyone for the useful information I've found whilst lurking here!

The question I have now, which I can't seem to find an answer to, is about the phone cradle in the centre console of my (2003 W209) CLK.

A previous owner, for reasons unknown, decided to remove the cradle. There definitely was one there before, but all I'm left with is 4 snapped plastic lugs, a loose end of Coax, and a snipped cable that looks like a 10 core copper cable. Fortunately, there's a label on that with a number "A 2098200115 Q02"

Is this enough information to diagnose what system my car used to have? And what's the best way to reinstate the cradle? The 'salesman' at my local dealership said "Install a parrot".

Anyone with any ideas?

Many thanks in advance.

read some of THIS, and realize that your only serious option is to get that A 2098200115 Q02 cable somehow terminated to a Bluetooth puck, which would then work with any Bluetooth phone. Your missing cradle would only work with a particular Mercedes-branded phone that was available in 2003. About the only phone I know of that was available in 2003 and MIGHT still be activatable today, with existing E-911 laws, is the Motorola V60, which most people wouldn't wanna use today. BITD, some MB owners would activate a dedicated MB phone as a second line, then use no-answer transfer to send calls from the phone they carry (and give out the number to) to the one in the car. A cumbersome "fix" for sure.
If you speak Russian (or trust Google-translate) there seems to be lots of info online.

Your cable is #200 in the schematic above; note the several different cradles available.
If you're not up for the reading, email cellguy@live.com, a MB Phone tech for decades. He'll sort it out and set you up for a fair fee.
