new mods..
Hi guys just thought id share some photos of updated mods i have done on my car including the quad headlights and tinted rear tail lights.. Ive usually been browsing through the forums and have gained heaps of knowledge and ideas so thought id like to share some of the inspiration that ive gathered and applied to my car.. Next plan is to do the quad exhaust conversion in which im eagerly waiting as not many people here in Australia bother with these mods..

Well coming from factory Halogen headlights (the boring ones not the oem xenons) its definitely made a difference. Ive got a 6000K HID system and with the old headlights id be seen from space lol however i ended up blinding everybody on the road..
The light is more focused and projected.. I replaced the high beam light with a 5000K phillips diamond vision globe so when all the lights on they're pretty close in terms of matching and it gives the car a four eyes look..
It was a pain at first to fit them and im sure everyone who purchased these had dramas with the pins not lining up correctly at the start but it paid off in the end and look absolutely amazing. One thing i would've honestly preferred was if the housing was more dull easy on the chrome ( like factory oem xenon headlights) but for the price i really cant complain..
Here in Australia it was $4000 for two brand new original xenon headlights compared to the $600 i paid for these 2 aftermarket ones.. Was even considering these headlights in the black housing to contrast with the car.

CLK 350
black housing wouldve been nice, especially with the black lip spoiler.
i ended finding oem xenons on ebay from 2 different sellers for $450 for both. i had the the housing painted black as well. you can check my thread (it is currently on the 1st page)

Might consider it later on down the track.. Also with the oem xenons i would've preferred them but i just couldn't find a brand new RHD set.. All were LHD and i couldn't even find used ones here. I definitely wasn't going to spend 4K on headlights either so i went for these instead and im quite happy with them so far.

The rest are just globes.. Ive also fitted chrome/silver indicator bulbs to prevent that "yellow look" from the turn signals..

Yes.. for the high beams ive fitted phillips diamond vision 5000K globes and for the parking lights ive fitted LED globes which all light up quite nicely when theyre all one. Ive also got the phillips diamond vision in my foglights.. Only my headlights use a proper 6000K HID/Xenon kit (with ballast).

I think they're referring to the silver vision however im pretty sure that the diamond vision is the brightest .. Well here anyway. As for the LED bulbs I purchased them from eBay and it features 8 small LEDs positioned all around the wedge globe.

anyone know the steps to get to the foglight bulbs? One of mine takes on water, so I want to take apart the whole thing and dry it out. I also have some mod ideas for the plastic trim pieces around the (non-AMG) fogs.....

Thanks guys an yes it's a very expensive hobby especially with mercs.. Nothing's cheap but it does pay off in the end. I rekon out of all the bumpers out there that's available, the clk 63 bumper would have to be the best looking apart from the clk black series bumper. As for the wheels I rekon for their price they are pretty dam good (purchased from formymercedes) .. Not sure about over there but here in Australia not many people have them. They are extremely rare as in I've only seen one other person with them So it's good to have something different and stand out .
I've tried to keep it looking oem as possible with a blend classy with that sport /aggressive look. Theyre already an amazing car from the factory to little has to be done to get them looking nice

searching for "LED globes," I found these, but at $1.75 each, they can't possibly be right...
these at $5.50/pair don't say how many LEDs (AZN has 8) and they're 6000K...

I'm using ANZ LEDs as well, good products, fairly good support.

Thanks I rekon they would have to be one of the best looking in my opinion.. I've currently got H&R sport springs 35 mm all round.. My car just hit the 100,000 kilometre mark so I've ordered a set of the Bilstein B8 shocks as mine are starting to become very bouncy and uncomfortable because I'm still using my standard shocks..
As for the LED bulbs I using the same ones as in the pictures (top bulb).
