MB World Wiki Thread
Earlier today I made the announcement that MB World now has a wiki. In case you missed the announcement, read it here
What I would like to see in this thread is two things:
1)Your feedback on who is the guru of this model section. What I would like to see is the usernames of the 1 -2 people you look to for technical information about this model of MB. We would like to recruit them to help us in populating the information in the wiki.
2)Requests for items you would like to see added to the wiki.

Guys - John & I have done our best to pre populate the W209 Wiki. It's not complete but it is a start.
I vote Rudney as the W209 guru - we have already given him access for Beta version critique. You may also wish to vote others to help him.
Trust you enjoy this resource & will help us build it.

For a wealth of "by the book" technical info, there are ONLY 2 guys IMO, I've said it before and I'll say it again;
209 Batman and Robin = Glyn & Rudeney
I'm not sure if they have yet decided who is who...

I really put my back into pre populating the CLK Wiki because we are a small group here. I appreciate the kind words.
Rudney is going to have to take the lead for a while. John & I now have the job of getting every model forum on the board up & running & formatted etc. Going to be busy for a while.
Dump anything you want posted to the Wiki in this thread & we will ensure it gets into the Wiki if appropriate.
We intend to open up the Wiki to all to edit but we still need to sort some issues not least of all backup.

Thanks Kev. It's been a goal of Johnand & I since our early days on the forum. There were obstacles but we got there.
Instead of endlessly repeating ourselves & a clunky search function we can help a member with a question & then refer them to the Wiki for method of repair etc.
Well this is the embryo.

Just to add another source for updating some of the Wiki pages, here is one of my favorite resources: http://www.marcusfitzhugh.com/CLK/W209spec2.html Not my work so maybe give credit where it's due, but that guy is a beast with details, etc.

I'm new to the forum and to 209's, but not new to M-B's. I bought my first one in 1975 and it was my first car. The wealth of information here is indispensable. Also, the 209 thread seems to have a lot of truly nice people involved. Again, my thanks to all here.

Hello all,
I'm sorry if I'm being a little thick here, but I cannot find the Wiki content, that thsi thread refers to. How can I access it?
Thanks.

What became of the wiki? Also. it seems that the W209 forum is without it's wonderful repair stickys. Are they hidden, or gone, if you know? Thanks, bobehill@gmail.com
