Need help!
Hello MB Enthusiasts!I've purchased a 04 CLK500 Cabriolet with 47,XXX miles a week ago, lady driven, and well taken care of(my 1st MB). I would like to do some tasteful mods to the car like rims and tires, sat radio and tints.2 days ago, I'm having an issue with brake notification on the display that pops up when I'm arriving to work or home! I just want to clear it out myself instead of taking to the MB Dealer to get robbed!lol!is there a DIY thread to clear the code??? need your input! I'm a noob to the MB world!

FYI, there is no "reset". The warning is triggered by the electronic wear sensor that is inserted into the pad coming in contact with the rotor. Once they are triggers, you just have to replace the sensors. Your car should have two - one on a front brake pad, and one on a rear.
As for a DIY, I think there is at least one here somewhere - search, and also don't forget to check the W203 forum as they are similar. If you are familiar with disc brakes, then you'll be fine. The CLK500 uses fixed calipers, so there are pins that hold a metal spring clip in place against the pads. You have to push the pins out and then the pads slide out from between the rotor and caliper. Removing the calipers is straightforward - just two bolts holding them to the hub. Removing the rotors requires removing one set screw, but then they are usually welded to the hub from rust. I find a hammer and a wood block does the trick. Tap on the hub and on the rotor cap, then on the back of the rotor (see pics):
