Help me diagnose sqealing noise please...
I had thought it was brake-squeal, but it occurs whether I'm braking or not when I turn right, but not left. It sounds like brake or belt squeal.
I just had my front right tire replaced and wheel refinished at a shop about six miles from my house, and I drove the car there, had them remove the wheel and put the spare on. The lugs weretoo hot to hold and the tech said he burned his gloved hand on the rotor. Same thing when I went back later and switched the wheels again. He thought it might be a caliper dragging but spun the wheel and it spins free. I tried to get him to let me turn the wheel right and have him spin again, but he said that wouldn't matter. Thoughts?
I replaced the lower control arm on that side not long ago, as well as the pads and rotors.

No - You have a fixed caliper. If the wheel bearing is loose it can allow the rotor to rub on the pads all the time thus getting hot. You might just need to take up play in the bearing. Even a new set of wheel bearings is cheap.

There is a special tool to use for measuring play in the bearing, but basically, you want it just tight enough to have no play. Here's the WIS document:
