Hi all.

2006 C55 owner, looking for a CLK grill - someone suggested I post in here in case any of you wanted to trade for a C55 grill. Looking for a 3- or 4-slat, black rather than a 1-slat.

Will also accept recommendations of any good place to buy one.

I was looking for a single slat grill to swap out for mine... but I use my car daily so I can't really remove the grill and wait for a new one to arrive.

Is 2006c55 grill and 2006clk500 a clean grill swap?

I'm interested in trading. I have a silver 4 slat grille. If I remember correctly isn't the c55 grille a 2 piece (Will it fit on a clk)? Also where are you located?

I got an OEM grill in the garage with a small chip in the chrome.

That's my understanding, though I have to get a CLK hood latch and CLK spacer to fit this in my C55 - a CLK owner probably has to do the reverse. Dealer or parts.com items, cheap.


Might be interested in this one. If I understand correctly this is a loose part and not mounted in a car? Bit more convenient for trading! I'm in Toronto, where are you located?

I have both of them. I currently have the black one on my car but can swap to the silver while waiting for the c55 one. I'm located in San Francisco. Would you also want to trade the the hood ornament?
