Keep in mind that your error code is related tot he CRNAKSHAFT position sensor, and there's only one. the Camshaft position sensors rarely fail. I'd clear the code and see if it comes back before spending the money on it.
Ok that's what I thought. You Have helped a lot. If you don't mind , I also have intake manifold runner stuch open control bakk 1. I have seen many replacement parts for this fix made of metal. Do you have any recommendations on witch one to buy?

My advice on intake manifold issues is to replace the entire housing. Don't take chances with cheap repairs because internal part can break away and get sucked into the cylinder and cause catastrophic engine damage. You can buy the OEM (Pierburg) for a reasonable price.

Ok I thought from my research tha most of the time it was the plastic arm that broke b/c of a bad design. I will take it apart when I replace the magnets and inspect. Along with more research.

Sometimes there is a plastic lever on the manifold that breaks, but sometimes it breaks because an internal tumbler breaks and locks up.

Greetings and Happy New Year – Would you mind checking another VIN please? WDBUF56X18B272718 - 08 E350

Hoping I’m OK as I just spent over $5,200 on the timing chain tensioner and all cam adjuster issue for my 2012 E350. MBUSA and Dealer took care of 40% of the 8K job. Bought and serviced at same dealer for the life of the car. Just out of extended warranty by miles 90K. Took a lot of fighting just to get them to pay part. Thanks a ton,

Can you check mine too?? Thanks.

Since you are on a roll, my vin is: WDBTJ72J07F230961
I checked on my own and it looked like it was not in the range, but a second opinion would be great.
Thanks.
Kevin.

No worries about a CLK320 - its M112 engine has no balance shaft troubles.
