I did mine the exact same as your 4 years ago. People called it fake because it not the OEM setup. I didn't mind being called it fake because I only paid $450 for everything and other spent over $3000 for an OEM setup.

On the dual exhaust issue, I recall reading a post here or on BW where a guy did it. He removed the center resonator and brought two pipes back into a single dual-chamber muffler. Now, if we could just do that, then use your pipe for the passenger side...BINGO! real dual exhaust on a cabriolet!
That would've been the ideal way but unfortunately the cabriolet just hasn't got enough space like the coupe does due to the extra reinforcing bars Originally Posted by Rudeney

You can still do what Rudeney said. It like the old Ford Mustang exhaust system. Btw, I also spray paint the OEM mulffer bottom flat black so it does not look funny from behind. If your car is not lower, you can really see the muffler only on one side.
That's a nice setup you got there man, I like how the mods are tasteful and make the car look even better. Love it

Louie, look at V Sexy's secondary pipe - he didn't remove the spare. I wonder if you could do something like that?
Yes this way has to be the easiest + cheapest compared to having to remove the spare wheel and all that.. As long as you paint the piping black which I did, then you really can't tell.. Plus helps when your car is lowered as well
unless you get up close and underneath then it's hard to tell and because all four tips have smoke and noise coming out of them then you can't really tell..

I've tried my best to keep the car borderline between oem and aftermarket and kinda blend the two together.. Basically just trying to make a nice car more better ..Super Member
