Location of brake switch?

2004 CLK500
Location of brake switch?

Can someone post a pic of the location of my brake switch for my 2004 CLK500? I see a small circle in a plastic piece and inch or so above the pedal that looks like it is for a switch but there is no switch there so I'm wondering if my 2004 model did not have a switch in this location. I'm having some issues with not being able to shift out of park and I have read that some vehicle just need this switch replaced but I'm uncertain if my CLK has one.

You also need to check the adjustment of interlock cable 32.

mty car has that samw peice hanging and my car will not go put of park even with the override latch. I've taken apart my gear shifter got a new brake light .the only thing is that damn hanging piece!
