Exclamation Clock setting

I have 2004 CLK320 imported from Japan and it looks that theclock setting linked to the navigation system which all written in Japaneselanguage ... but regardless I believe that the GPS for my car can only work inside Japan.

Anyone can help or provide a process to set the clock timemanually ….

Check your owner's manual. It's covered in there extensively.

GPS should still work, but you need a USA map disc. As for the language, I am not certain, but I believe you can change it to English. There are settings in the instrument cluster and in COMAND. The COMAND can either mirror the cluster language setting, or it can have its own setting. Of course if it's in Japanese, and you don't read Japanese, then it might be difficult for you to read the prompts and change the setting. Maybe you have a friend who reads Japanese and can help read the menu screesn to see if there is an English setting?

The problem that the user manual also written in Japanese , Itried to find an english version but it looks that the Japanese cars come withdifferent screen unit so the COMAND manual doesn’t match the one in USA or anyother countries, furthermore the navigation system works fine and I can see themap but it keep showing that I’m in Japan and the GPS sign doesn’t appear onthe screen that’s why I expect that the GPS somehow configured to work insideJapan only.

Attached a picture for the screen unit for my car, please have a look and let me know if you are familiar with it.

Sorry, I am not at all familiar with that unit. I think you are going to have to find a translator.

Yes I was trying to change the time zone but as I said everything written in Japanese and even I tried to guess and follow the pictures which I have in the COMAND user manual but the manual showing some options which I cannot find in my navi screen so I presume that the GPS configured to work inside Japan only
