help me clear something

i recently sold my CLK55 suspension to a customer off ebay.. the buyer received the suspension and later i get an e-mail saying that he only got 2 struts and wondering if i forgot to send 2 more? are there 4 struts? when i sent the package, there were 4 springs, 2 struts and 2 shocks along with 2 bump stops... did i miss something here or is the buyer misunderstood?

What car was the buyer going to put your CLK55 suspension on? I was wondering if I should try to sell my CLK500 suspension but figured it would not be of any use to anyone!

According to your pic, it looks good to me. The "struts" and bigger springs are for the front, the "shocks" and smaller springs are for the rear.

Ummm...how much did you sell those for? You might need to buy them again when you sell your car in a few years time. I would keep it. But I guess its too late!!

what you sent is good... the guy who bought it probably doesn't know what the heck he is doing...

UNLESS.... the buyer has a W208 CLk320... and figures, well, they are both CLKs, so they should fit... which they WON'T...

w208 uses 4 springs & shocks...
w209 uses 4 springs, 2 shocks & 2 struts...

check with the buyer, maybe they have the older model... of if he insists its a 2003, maybe he bought a w208 2003 clk320
