So I traded this bad boy in a few weeks ago and got a 6 series. Sad to see it go, but the 6 series has always been a dream car and the deal was too good to pass up. I will miss it though :|

Congrats! Is it the new body ones or the the previous gen? I'd like to know as interestingly enough my second choice was an 08-10 650i. Want to see how they compare to you and what are you likes and dislikes thanks

I always liked the previous gen's (04-10) body style. I got lucky enough to snag an 09. I'm loving it so far but it is definitely a different ride quality than the clk. it took a while to get use to.

Same here. The old body just flowed better imo. That's great man. The 08-10 ones definitely had some exterior improvements to the design for better flow and I love the stock wheels that come on them. How's the power throw down and handling compare? I know the car has much more tech in it compared to the W209s. I feel like the Benzes that came out around the 03 time (E, CLK, SL) really lacked in the infotainment and electronic gadgetry compared to the likes of the 5 and 6 series that came out the year after

My CLK definitely had less weight, more torque and power. But there is just something about the 6 series that gets me excited. Its always been my dream car so maybe that's why. The only edge the 6 has is in handling. Don't know if it's the run flats but the car definitely handles better.

I really just love the look (exterior and interior). I'm still working out what mods to add to get the power and torque where I would like it, but I'm definitely satisfied. This is one of those cars that I'll never trade in.

I figured the same things between the two cars

Ya it definitely has that something about it. Glad you like it so much. Congrats and enjoy

There are many things I like about BMW vehicles, and there are many things I like about MBZ vehicles. They both make great machines. I happen to prefer MBZ vehicles for several reasons. As I get older, I appreciate a softer more compliant ride, but I also enjoy the occasional curve. While MBZ may not handle it as well as BMW, it has the right blend of comfort and performance for me. And I also like the controls and "feel" of MBZ interiors better. There is no right or wrong here. There are so many great choices in cars today - get what YOU enjoy. Congrats on the new BMW, Broli!

Yeah! What you said Rodney.

I am just thankful there are so many choices; and that I can afford a couple of them...

My SIL M3 is a heck of a car. I've driven it several times. He now has a SC and aftermarket exhaust on it..... However, I honestly prefer my 550.

Congrats Broli.... It feels good to LOVE the one you're with huh.
