ATF
For my transmission service last time, I bought the 236.14 ATF from the dealership for $26 CAN per liter. I read here that some of you can get Shell ATF for much lower price.
I am wondering if MB ATF and Shell ATF are comparable products (one is just as good as the other)? Also, does anyone know who makes the MB ATF?

How about mixing MB ATL with Shell-134? I ask because I do only pan-flush. So, I will mixing MB ATL and Shell ATL.
In fact, I did the last pan flush exactly a year ago. I would like to go for another pan flush but it has only been 16k miles. I miss how smooth the car was after the last pan flush.

I would guess it should be fine because for my last transmission (722.6) service, I did 2 pan flushes (3k miles apart) in a row to push in more 236.14 fluid. So, I have both 236.10 and 236.14 fluids in my transmission currently.

Only the new blue 236.15 fluid is not reverse compatible.
As I mentioned before, my last pan flush was just 16k miles ago. I am anxious for another pan flush.

ATF for my 722.6 is now a mixture of MB branded 236.10 and 236.14 (mostly 236.14 because I did 2 pan-flushes last year). Shell ATF134 would be a 3rd fluid, kind of. Sure hope all these fluids would work well together.
The reason I am going with Shell because of my friend's car. She has a 2006 C230 Sport Sedan and never had transmission service done on the car. Her transmission should be 722.6 as well so going with Shell would save me a lot of money.
