Can't open top with key fob anymore...

I used to be able to open my top remotely with my key fob, but can't anymore. Is there a way to program this feature back in the fob? 2004 CLK 55

Hey all... how can I make sure that it's the IR sensor gone bad? Seemayur, how did you find out that it was your IR sensor?
