2007 CLK 350 Cabriolet
Shift Lever Problems
Have a 2007 350 CLK. In the morning if I stop the car to get coffee after a mile or so the shift lever will not go into reverse or park. If I continue driving after 15 minutes or so everything works fine. Any ideas as to what could be causing this.

Sounds as though you either have crap in the shifter mechanism or trouble with the interlock. If you stomp on the brakes when this happens does the shifter release?
