w209 Cab - Knock from inside
Has anyone else had a problem with an annoying knock coming from the rear of the passenger compartment while driving.
It occurs on fairy uneven roads, so I'm wondering if something is loose in the boot (trunk?) or could the rear window be hitting the roof compartment's cover (there is about a 5mm gap presumably with a rubber seal underneath).
It's driving me mad.

I feed them at least twice a week, why should I let them out?
But seriously - theres a thought. If i put one in the boot she could listen for where the noise is coming from. A 3 hour journey should give plenty of opportunity.

Let us know how that experiment turns out.

If you think the noise is coming from the space between the window and the cover, try jamming something into the space and going for a drive to see if the noise is eliminated.
