I dont even get on the gas for a G37 anymore. The thrill is gone and it is not worth it. It has to be a challenge to make me react

i totally feel you, but when i had a 350 they use to always cut me off! now they try and fail .. but you are correct, the thrill is dying... i WANT A CLK 63 so badly!!!!!

Dont get me wrong... ...I love my 550! The thrill of blowing off G37's is gone. I even had one gutter jump me a couple of weeks ago....I was on the phone and did not even expend the effort (usually I go about half throttle and pace right next to them until they back off ).

However....I do find myself eyeballing used E and C 63's...

my first mod will probably be a quad setup. i need to hear the engine!

I really would like the eisenmann exhaust setup, but its a bit too pricey for me unless i can find one used. or i can always go the custom exhaust setup like DISCO and a bunch of other members did and get the S63 exhaust tips

actually, i think i would like to do suspension first, koni yellor + H&R springs or PSS9 coilovers. i feel the body roll more on this car in comparason to my clk350 and it looks like it sits way higher. hummmm.

so what im thinking is suspension then sway bar then exhaust.. all is subject to change lol

guys, any idea if 18x9 et.31 and rear 18x10.5 et. 34 will fit a clk550 without modification?

10.5 is pretty wide. Hard to say.

I've fit 18x10 ET 30 before and it was flush.

Yours will be pretty tight.
