Hi guys,
Just purchased a 2009 clk550 and love it. when i received the car the radio worked fine.

woke up yesterday turned on the radio and NO SOUND! then later in the afternoon sound turns on randomly

got in the car again and no sound, 10 mins after driving the sound turned on again.

The radio works i do not get no CDC.

If the CDC works, but no sound, then it's probably not the fiber optic ring -it's most likely a problem with the amp in the trunk.

Thanks bro! Im on my way to the dealership where I got the car.
Btw while I have your attention, I just realized that my car does not have paddel shifters. Is there a way I can add them on?

You must have the wood steering wheel, right? I seem to recall a thread either here or on benzworld about retrofitting them using the buttons from the AMG model, but the only "official" way would be to install the proper steering wheel.

^yes, thats the one i have, feels sexy buy i love the feel of the Amg style steering wheel on my 350!

Im most likely going to get a Flat bottom steering wheel, so the rest should be plug and play?

I don't know about "plug and play" but the thread I saw was fairly comprehensive with all the part sand the work needed.
