Parcel Tray Refinished
Have an 05 CLK500 with a black interior and the parcel tray has faded significantly, so I'd like to refinish back to black.
Anyone have any suggestions on product or dyes I should use?
Thank
Jake

I have nothing but admiration for my good friend but on this one he is just off his rocker.
Go pick up a $7 can of carpet spray at the auto parts store.
Take out the shelf, pop off the head rest buttons and spray away~

Oh, this is the hat shelf - I was assuming it was the tray between the rear seats. So, a new hat shelf will run around $350 at parts.com, but yes, that is something that could be re-dyed. The package tray in the rear seat is hard plastic an not easily painted.

they are probably all the same i got it at advance auto
believe it or not it will also work on the stoopid plastic between the rear seats although exposure to scratching is a consideration
