DIY Resetting Service Indicator for 2005 Mercedes CLK500 Convt.
Found some info in the forum about how to reset,but it did not worked for me,on my clk500 so i play little and found out how to ,so posted here for other people to know how.
Here you go:
1. Make sure your doors,trunk and hood are closed !
2.Put key in position 1.

3.Press button 1 (see picture) till you get at dash screen "Temp & Miles"

4.Press display illumination button 2 (see picture) for about 3-5 times,till you will get on the screen the voltage ,something like: VB:12.3v

5. Turn key to position 2 ,

6. You will have on the screen "Service A..."

7. Press arrow lower or up
picture ,look at nr#4
till you will get a confirmation to Reset ,

8. Press nr#2 on the picture ( illuminating knob ) for 3 sec to reset.

9. After pressing Nr#2 ,it will say "service confirmed"

Turn key off ,Done.
Hopefully all is okay picture wise.
End.

Well,yes it is all most the same,
but on that pdf,at line 6,7,8 it say about "oil",
and at my screen it say "service A.." then i pressed "R" button (display illumination button ,nr.2 on the picture),hold for 3 sec and it reset.
So i guess that where i so the difference ,but it could be the same , but hey,my
pictures are better .
