Driver seat adjust

hi guys. I was wondering if it is possible to manually adjust the driver seat of my CLK500 2002. I'm not sure what the problem is as I have not had the car for long. I used to be abl to get the steering wheel to move under the convenience settings but no longer. The horn doesn't work or the seatbelt presenter. The fuses seem fine.
The seat is stuck in a bad position. So if I could manually adjust it for now. It would do before booking it in and spending too much money.
Thanks for your help.

You don't have a MY2002 CLK500 - the CLK500 coupe began production in MY2003 and the cabriolet followed in MY2004. But that doesn't matter - the electroncis on the W209 are pretty much the same though all of its years.
First, check fuse #2 on the rear SAM in the trunk. If that's not it, then you probably have a bad door control unit.

Yes mate. I checked the fuses and they are all good. Just a bit weird that the other stuff that don't works on the driver side also. The seat presenter on thepassenger side only works sometimes too.
Oh and PS - Please don't tell me what I have got and what I haven't got. Grown man. Not soft. 2002 CLK500 w209. Last shape. Do I need to post pics and logbook snaps. I just would like to know if one can manually adjust the seat so I can drive it before hunting down a control module?

Are you in the UK? It would be helpful if you would update your profile to show your location. For you guys "across the pond", the "car's year" that you refer to is, well, "not correct". You guys go by the "registration year" which is not necessarily the same thing as "model year". MBZ did not build any MY2002 W209s. Although it went on sale in calendar year 2002, the W209 coupe was introduced as a "2003" model. I know this doesn't make sense in terms of what your government calls it, but the manufacturer considers the car a "2003". I didn't mean to sound condescending or combative - I just wanted to make sure you were talking about a "w209" and not a "w208". There is some confusion since the W209 coupe came out as MY2003 but the cabriolet was delayed to MY2004.
As for a way to get the seat to move, you could disconnect the wiring harness leading from the seat controller to the adjustment motor, then use a battery to power it. I would use a separate battery or 12v power supply to do this so as not to risk any problems with shorts int eh vehicle's system, causing other problems (like a fried SAM). I don't know which wires to power, but this might help:

Good luck - let us know how it turns out as this does happen from time to time and others could benefit if you find a fix or even just instructions on how to manually adjust the seat when the controller fails.
