Resonator Delete?

Resonator Delete?
Hello,
I've decided to ditch the rims and lowering springs and just increase my sound on my car. I currently have everything but my muffler. Just a basic muffler delete with dual tips. I'm just wondering how much of an increase in sound would I get if I deleted my resonator? Deeper bass? Louder startup? I can't find any videos with a resonator and muffler delete. If anybody has any video or actually has a res and muffler delete please let me know. Also, would it pass the smog in Cali? Thanks!

Resonator Delete
I just did a Resonator delete and removed my AMG muffler on my 2006 clk 500.I had the muffler shop just put straight pipe in place of the Resonator then had him replace the muffler with a Flowmaster 40 series Single in single out with dual tips that look just like the one that was on there. I can say that if your looking for a Muscle car sound this is the route to go when your on the throttle it has a great sound, and for the price i couldn't see a reason to go with a different setup. Also i bet i lost 65 to 70 pounds by replacing the muffler and resonator. As for the smog question i think if you keep both cats in place i would think it would pass but i dont know as i live in Oklahoma.

Resonator Delete
Ive seen a mustang with a cherry bomb on it and i dont think that is the type of sound that you are going for it sounds real cheap. I would stay with your current setup that sounds great.
