When discussing left and right on our cars does left mean the drivers side ?

I need the clear cover that goes over the lights on the driver's outside mirror.

Seems simple but I have been given different answers. Would like to only order the part once.

Left means the drivers side if you have a LHD car.

Since your profile indicates you are in Ohio (USA), then yes, left = driver's side.
