To Gap Spark Plugs
Just bought 12 Bosch plugs FR8DPP33+ for my 2004 CLK320.
Is this a pre-gapped plug? I checked the other thread, the gap specs is supposed to be 0.039 inch (1.0MM).

I did some research on the net on the gap size. The information was conflicting.
FR8DPP33+ is the updated version of FR8DPP33 and maybe it is pre-gapped. I am looking at one now and the packaging does not mention gap size. Is it possible that for the same spark plug, different engines require different gap sizes?

i think those should be pre-gapped. I bought mine from the dealer, but i think it was the prior design. literally came with bosch boxes and a little mercedes symbol on top. mercedes tech told me these came pregapped.
so i think most of their spark plugs come pre gapped.
