Oil Level in Dyno Mode
I usually check my oil level in dyno mode where I can get the exact amount of engine oil. Should this be checked in cold or hot engine? The temperature certainly will impact the volume of the oil. I know that I have to wait at least a few minutes for the oil to go back to the pan.

From your owner's manual. If you don't have a copy go to the Wiki & download.
Notes on checking engine oil level:
When checking the oil level
-the vehicle must be parked on level ground
-with the engine at operating temperature,
the vehicle must have been stationary for
at least 5 minutes with the engine turned
off
-with the engine not at operating
temperature, the vehicle must have been
stationary for at least 30 minutes with the
engine turned off

I don't recall I read anything about dyno mode in the owner manual. I learned about this dyno mode here in this forum.
I checked the oil level today in dyno mode when he engine was cold. The oil level was 7.5L at startup. Should I expect higher reading when the engine is hot (wait after 5 minutes)?
