I am having a problem lately with the front seats as follows:
The release on the passenger seat is 'sticking' or sometimes doesn't allow the seat back to be brought forward to allow access to far seats.

The drivers seat sometimes deploys the headrest when it is in the forward collapsed position and thereby gets wedged on the sun visor and can't be put back (the last time this happened I opened the soft top).

Any suggestions?

 

The latch on my seat sometimes "sticks" too. I have found that pushing down on the seat back while pulling on the latch seems to work. I haven't had time to look into it, but I suspect that the lock mechanism under the seat is binding and may need some adjustment or lubrication. As for the headrest deploying with the seat folded forward, it may be the microswitch that detects the position. Tsii may help you see how it all works:
