Wiper Blade Problem

Ive been having a weird problem. I know wiper blades would skip along the whole windsheild in 2003 but i have a 2004 and only the passanger wiper blade skips and its not along the whole windsheild.. It only skips once towards each extreme left and right of its cycle. Its not that bad but its annoying... Ive tried obviously changing wiper blades (installed originals) and then i put some WD40 on the rotating cylinder that holds the wiper blade in place (right under the mechanisim that locks the blade in place) still no effect.. What else can i try?

This was still a problem up to the facelift. If your dealer has the correct kit they should be able to reset angle of attack for you.

Thought id update the thread. I passed by the dealership to see what they can do about my problem and the guy had no idea.. I even opened the links u sent me and showed him the part numbers and his face just went blank.. Really bad service here.. Anyway its been raining a lot lately and it was really getting on my nerves so i opened the hood took apart the passenger side wiper arm to see how this thing works.. And i fixed it!

First i tried bending the top fixed metal clip that holds spring on the inside of the blade but i accidentally moved it in the wrong direction so the problem got worse, but i was happy that i knew at least is was something to do with the spring mechanism.

So then i bent it back how it was and thought i better not ruin the arm and moved on to search for another way to fix it.

Eventually i realized i might be able to fix it by cutting away a bit of the metal that stops the arm at its specific angle while its horizontal thereby increasing the angle of attack without ruining the spring.

I dont recommend what i did because its irreversible and if you cut too much out of the metal stoppers you cant do anything about it anymore.

I used a drill and rubbed down the sides at about 2/5th of a millimeter at a time then tested until i was satisfied!

Again do this at your own risk.. Better to ask your dealer for the correct procedure.. Just sharing info.
