Steering wheel vibrating at speed
Does anybody know the offset of the CLK? I've got an 06 350. I don't really know how to make sense of all the numbers. If anybody could help I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, anybody have an idea of where I could find these hubcentric rings? I've done some cursory googling but I can't seem to find anything other than 73mm to 64mm.
Edit: From what I can tell, the OEM CLK 350 wheel has an offset of 30. Would that mean that I need a 20mm hubcentric ring?

You can also try taking a sanding disc tool and cleaning the rotor mating surface to the wheel and the inside of the wheel mating surface to the disc. Rust can build up and should be removed to make uniform contact. Will it remove your shudder? I dont' know... will it help perhaps.
I've run spacer before and yes they were hubcentric, and I still have the vibes you describe..... I had to clean the mating surfaces, AND find the right combination of clocking the wheels/spacers to get a smooth ride..... I gave up on the spacers after this as I ran out of patience to guess the right rotation.
GL.
I remember it being hell getting these wheels to fit originally. Apparently the shop that installed the wheels wrapped duct tape around the hub to get it to sit flush and not vibrate? That's what I get for taking it there I guess. I recently got into a crash which required the front right suspension to be rebuilt, which is when I found out about the duct tape deal. They removed it, and the vibrating came back. So I guess, despite how ****ing ghetto it was, it worked? I'm hoping the hubcentric rings will fix the issue.
It seems I just need to find out the diameter of the hub itself, but I can't seem to do so anywhere online. Guess I'm gonna have to do it the old fashioned way and jack the car up.
Pretty sure the offset on the rear is 35mm.
Are you sure the offset for the aftermarket wheels are 50mm? That number seems a bit high. If they are then you won't need spacers to clear the brakes you just need longer bolts which I'm assuming you already have installed on the car if your driving with them on. Get the hub rings and your vibration will vanish
