I am actually only bothered by the drone when the windows are up. I didn't pay much attention to it until the weather got cold (seldom use the A/C). I've been working on a solution for several months and it looks promising. Will post some videos in about a month.
You're sounding good. There's nothing like the feeling I get in mine when the rpm climbs above 1600 and moves steadily (and within the limits of the law) toward redline....... Dang!

Thanks beejay. That's interesting..... I'll keep that in mind. And I'll make sure I get back to you in about a month. What I've worked on is non-invasive to the exhaust flow and already meets the primary objective of greatly reducing drone at highway cruising speeds, but there is a bit more work to be done. thanks again.

Hey guys!
After experiencing potential cat failure (unstable idle, and foul smell after strong acceleration) on clk500 wanted to get rid off the cats. But hey always wanted to have a quad system in place, so thought why not cut the cats and the rest and replace it with straight pipe system high flow resonator and quad tail pipes. So, went to the garage this afternoon and handed in my beauty to a hippy looking exhaust guy
Will update soon with sound video and my opinion on sound and power gain!
So far this is the progress guys
