Head lamp problem

Does anyone know what would cause one of my xenon bulbs to actually shatter inside the headlight? I hate to put a new bulb in and have it shatter too. I just wonder if I have another problem.

NO LONGER ACTIVE

Moisture in the headlight can cause that.
