Hello everyone and Merry Christmas.

I would like to know if there is a part number for the silver/chrome part of the door sill that says "Mercedes Benz".

I know the whole sill can be bought, but I want to know if anyone supplies the silver/chrome part given that it's simply glued to the sill.

I'd like to buy new ones for my car.

Any help will be appreciated.

Unless you find an aftermarket part, the only OEM repair is to replace the entire plastic sill with the metal insert already attached. Here is is at parts.com:

This is for black - you will need the proper color code (last 4 digits of the part#) for your car.

 

That's what I was fearing. Having to order the whole thing rather than just the chrome part.

Oh well, I'll live with it or find something in the junk yard.
