HELP!!! shock or struts

Hello everybody. I drove from Kentucky to California recently and the car was fully loaded. I found out that on my left side after unloading all my bags the car was still low compared to the other side. Can you guys tell me what do i need to change is it the shock or struts that need to be replaced ?

Shock or strut insert will not make your cal sit uneven. They are both just dampers. If the spring on the strut assembly is broken or the spring seat is bent/broken that might. Bottom line is you need to get under and investigate or get it to a shop. The answer is not just strut or shock. Can you even tell if it is front or rear?
