Clk350 subwoofer problem

Today I pulled out my alternator from my 2006 clk350 and had my brings replaced because they were very noise. After putting it back in the car, now my Hartman/kardon subwoofer is not working. I think it could be a fuse but don't know where to look.

NO LONGER ACTIVE

I believe fuse #26 (dash panel) is the only one for the HK amp, but it should be for all channels, not just the sub. It;s worth a try pulling it, though.

Thanks but no luck. Fuse #26 is good and the sub is still not pumping.

Sorry, you may have to run (i.e. test) some wiring. I think it uses the man HK amp, so unless only the subwoofer section of it dies, I'd think it's a wiring problem.

I too have this same issue - subwoofer non-operational. I'll check this out too, thanks Rodney

Also, if you get yours to work - please let us know. I have been looking into this off and on for a while. I took my CLK to one shop that even told me there was no other way to fix it except tearing out the whole back seat to get to the subwoofer to replace it - insanity!
