W209 Door Seal

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for this door seal indicated by the red circle on the picture below.

Does anyone know the part number?

Or maybe does anyone have it available for selling?

Thanks!

It's a dealer part. Id' check parts.com:

http://www.parts.com/parts/2007/Merc...iagram=5770635

I think it's #4 here, but verify that is the part that runs through the entire door jamb.

not correct

it is a singular rubber piece that pops right out and is a minor pita to put back in. pull one off someone else's car and get the #.
i could not find it on my printed parts list

Thanks guys, it's a tough one to find indeed, on ebay or on any parts websites. I already spent sometime searching.

It's not part of the door jamb seal as it's not connected to the piece that runs all along the door. Then I was afraid that it's part of the rear window seal (it'd be so much work for such a seal), as the other door's did not want to pop up and it's held by a small panel and some sort of screws. So I did not try further removing it.

It's not great to have it missing as it hides a part of the back panel's side, blocks some road noise, and it's ugly without it.

I'll try once again to pop up the other door's, and see if there's any part number on it. If I go to the dealership, they'd most probably be able to find it and replace it, but it'll be at a certain COST..

Do you know if this seal --size and cut-- is specific to the w209 or is it a common Merc door jamb piece? (does the w203 saloon/sport has the same for example?)

If in the meantime anybody has one spare -- for right door -- (or the part#), keep me updated!!

part number found

I finally found which piece it is.
It's #10 on the quarter panel glass diagram below.
It's called "hole cover", part#: 2096730270.

More details here:

Thanks again for your help!

Ah, I see now. I thought it was the outer door seal. Glad you found what you were looking for. Parts.com has decent diagrams.
