clk center console jammed,
I searched every thread relates to the bluetooth section.
I'm referring to the main compartment.
also noticed the key doesn't seem to have an affect.
the tabs don't seem to retract properly. when pulling on the latch and raising the console.
will open if forced.
any guidance?

The multi-function opening of the console lid uses some plastic tabs to lock out "incompatible" options. Such as not being able to to open the top compartment with the bottom compartment open and vice-versa. If something in the console interferes, or the plastic tabs break, it can cause this to malfunction.
